Samsung Galaxy Beam 'Projector Phone'

Samsung is back AGAIN? with another smart phone designed to share media.

Couple of years back when Samsung presented a phone with a built-in mini projector, did not gained much attention yet they released a new version, Samsung Galaxy Beam. (Samsung might have been seeing things differently when it comes to sale)

There are a lot of phones that came out of the market but all are almost identical to one another based on their features and specs. Wider screen display, HD resolution, 4G connection or 3D Capable all have same. This time, it’s unique.

What's cool about this phone is it can display images, videos or even games on a wall, enough to be seen by others like a regular projector. Useful when you have a small group gathering or you have an urgent presentation to a client and all you needed is enough display in order to explain well. Normally 2 to 3 persons can watch to a phone but with a projector 4 to 5 people or maybe even more. All you need is a flat surface, a wall or ceiling, voila!

The Phone is packed with ideal specifications:

Samsung did a good job on keeping its thickness for only 12.5mm, my only concern is the phone temperature while playing, as we knew regular projectors are made of bulb and can produced heat. The phone also boasted an ultra-bright 15 lumen projector which means enough to a 50 inch display on a wall in an approximate distance (closer distance, smaller display but better image resolution). And I almost forgot, 15-lumen projectors cannot be used in an average lit area, you need a darker place.

"Man, Samsung keeps on coming with cool ideas"
